Dating can be a lot of things: exciting, fun… and also pretty nerve-wracking for people caught in the rat race for professional and social success. Getting rid of the dating problem is actually easy and definitely doable.
So here are a few dating tips for busy couples who are used to juggling their work, family and a host of other commitments.
Meet up for lunch
Make it a point to meet him or her during lunch hours for say a couple of times a week or month. This is actually easier if you both work within reasonable distance from one another. But if not, you can either drop in at your partner’s office or agree to meet at some midway place for a quick bite. The lunch may be a hurried affair, but just the fact that the two of you could meet up will provide a welcome relief from work pressures and ensure that you remain in each other’s thoughts for the rest of the day.
Create some ‘us’ time
Work and family responsibilities may leave you with no time for moments of peace or a hearty chat with your partner. But once in a while, you can cut off distractions like the TV, internet and phone. Check out some old photos, be it baby or school photos, and share awesome memories together. It’ll feel great to spend time together with no inhibitions and hey, the date practically plans itself!
Send each other text messages.
This is one bonding activity that you can do even when you’re apart! But even if you end up not spending enough time during the day, chances are you’ll feel closer and more connected. And you’ve got to admit, it’s a welcome break from the boring office work!
Work out together
This is a classic date idea with a (free) twist! Instead of heading out to a pricey restaurant or the movies, why not work out together and have fun while doing so? It will be way more romantic than a stuffy movie theater, anyway. You could go for an early morning run together or go to the gym. Either way, you get to spend time with each other and stay healthy.
Cook dinner together
Rev up your relationship by getting in the kitchen and preparing something with your partner. Due to busy schedules, people tend to take recourse to fast food, but once in a while, rope in your partner to prepare dinner. There’s nothing more sensuous than cooking together! Channel your inner cook and impress your date with some good food. Hopefully they’ll impress you too!
